Hi guys

Any body has been at Benq Hospital in SND? Does they offer VIP services in english?

I found another forum saying that:

- Suzhou Kowloon Hospital in SIP
- No 1 Hospital of Suzhou University
- No. 2 People’s Hospital

Should be expat friendly, but I don't really think so.... what do you think?

Besides that there are those clinics SingHealth and Gentle Medic in SIP which are not really helpful and Parkway Health which is advertising their opening in Suzhou since ages for one clinic in SIP and another in SND, but so far there is no real service being offered.

If you really need medical support, where would you go?

Regards

The outpatient dept at Kowloon is quite good: staying in a ward is a lot less foreigner-friendly, and standards of care are variable, though they made a real effort while I was there.

I wouldn't recommend no. 1 hospital, from my brief visit there: very minimal English, quite a lot of staring and some unhelpful support staff, though the senior doctors are well-trained.

Both hospitals tend to over-prescribe too.

My Chinese friends mostly say no. 2 is the best place, and at least some staff speak very good English there, but I haven't been there as a patient myself.

If you really want Western-level medical care (at American prices!), you need to go to one of the private Shanghai hospitals.

i'm not sure in suzhou, but in some places like nanjing, there is  one called global doctor.

i think Kowloon Hospital, yes!
